Photobooth Is Better Than Chocolate

"Better Than Chocolate!"

Our photobooth was non-stop fun for the ladies during the St. Lukes Festival of Trees Ladies Night in the old Twin Falls RiteAid building. The line was almost as long as the chocolate buffet and a whole lot less fattening. All the girls decked out in their finest attire didn’t think twice about throwing on a pink wig, santa hat or feather boa to grab a lasting memory in the One Fun photobooth. Proof positive that even the most swankiest affairs can still throw in a little bit of fun. Speaking of fun, be watching for One Fun Photobooth in Sun Valley Id. over the next few weeks.

Twin Falls Chamber Afterhours Hit!

tfcafIt was a little breezy and there was a chill in the air but in between hot soup, apple cider and pumpkin cookies, the Twin Falls business elite took time out for a little fun. The traditional Chamber Afterhours had a little twist just in time for the holidays. Music Magic Events was debuting their One Fun Photobooth with a special Holiday Stimulus Package for company holiday parties.
Curiosity was evident as people stared over at the strange looking curtained booth and mumbled wondering exactly what it was. After about an hour of people coming over and getting their new custom holiday edition photo, people finally fell in as to what it was, the latest new trend in party fun, a photobooth with a customizable output. From then on, even the accountants, attorneys and wayward sales people had to have their photos taken in the booth. At the end of the event, it was labeld a huge success, the hit of the evening!

Dates are booking up for this holiday season. Call 736-7268 to reserve your date.

Photo Booth a Hot New Trend

Photo Booth Rental a Hot New Trend for Wedding Reception Fun

Baltimore, MD (PRWeb) July 9, 2007 — Photo Booth scrap booking has emerged as a popular new trend for couples wishing to add a lively element to their wedding reception. “We have seen a measurable increase in wedding photo booth rental related searches,” says Gandhi Hurwitz, president of Bridal Guides, a popular wedding planning web site.

“Renting a photo both for the evening allows wedding guests to have fun and get loose behind the curtain,” explains Hurwitz. “The really fun part is all of the guests building a personalized scrapbook for the bride and groom to take home with them at the end of the evening.”

Julie Thomas, who was recently wed in Spring Lake, New Jersey, explains, “The photo booth was a huge hit. Our guests loved crowding in behind the curtain and acting goofy. There was a line all night to the booth. The best part was the scrapbook they created for us using their favorite photo strips. Each guest glued in their shots, and signed it for us. We will always treasure that scrapbook.”

Hollywood Gaga Over Photobooths

Quentin Tarantino installed a photo booth at his house in the Hollywood Hills last year. Mr. Ratner said Mr. Tarantino got the idea from him after he saw his photo booth at the birthday party he gave for his former fiancée, the actress Rebecca Gayheart. After Rob Zombie, a rock music figure and film director, rented booths for both his wedding and his birthday party, he was hooked, too: Mr. Zombie is inquiring about buying his own.

Photo booths even found their way into the movie awards season. At the Golden Globes show in January, Pat O’Brien, the host of the CBS celebrity program “The Insider,” greeted the Globe winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx by shuttling them into a booth. ” ‘Let’s do a smiley one,’ ” he recalled Mr. DiCaprio saying. Mr. O’Brien also made funny faces with Hilary Swank and Annette Bening. (Ms. Bening’s husband, Warren Beatty, waited patiently outside the booth.)

Jamie Lee Curtis, who rented a booth for her 18-year-old daughter Anne’s birthday party at the Hyatt in January, said, “There’s something about the anonymity of a photo booth – that you get to pull the curtain and do whatever you want – that is very provocative and freeing. And dangerous.”

The Short Stop’s owner, Oliver Wilson, knows what Ms. Curtis was talking about. “You see people going absolutely bananas in there,” he said. “There’s a certain sexuality to it. Among the things he has seen: “Girls taking off their shirts. These are, like, good girls who have jobs and stuff. And guys taking down their pants.” Matthew Barnard, a bartender at the Short Stop, recalled, “I had to kick a guy out one night because he was naked in there.”

Those silly faces and sexy poses come naturally in the curtained privacy of the photo booth. So does romance. Patti Peck at Edendale Grill remembered a marriage proposal that took place in Edendale’s booth. “He wanted the absolute excited look on her face – and he got it,” she said. And Ms. Curtis said she had photo booth pictures of her and her husband, the director, writer and actor Christopher Guest, as the sole adornment on their 20th wedding anniversary party invitations last December.

Perhaps Hallie Faben, a 24-year-old film editor, has the most novel use for photo booths. She says they can come in handy in the dating game. After stopping by the Short Stop on a first date, she recounted, her companion suggested a whirl in the machine. “But our body language was kind of weird,” Ms. Faben said, describing the photo strip, “so I took it as a sign that we shouldn’t date.”
